Current head of tree is Thomas BOSTOCK & Katherine FOX, my 8xGGPs who married in 1715 at Trowell, NTT. Thomas (if c1693) may be the s/o Gervase BOSTOCK & Anne BANCROFT (who married in 1689 at Beeston & who may be my 9xGGPs). Thomas & Katherine's Trowell descendants appear to be:

· Mary BOSTOCK (1716-21);

· John BOSTOCK (1717);

· Katherine BOSTOCK (1719-19);

· William BOSTOCK (1719-20);

· Joshua BOSTOCK (1720-34);

· Thomas BOSTOCK (1723-23);

· Sarah BOSTOCK (1723) = William MOUSON in 1744 Trowell;

· Robert BOSTOCK (1724-24);

· James BOSTOCK (1725-26);

· Elizabeth BOSTOCK (1727-27);

· Benjamin BOSTOCK (1728-);

· Samuel BOSTOCK (1731-31);

· Joseph BOSTOCK (1732-62) = Elizabeth SMITH in 1753 Trowell. 4 children:

o Thomas BOSTOCK (1755);

o Catherine BOSTOCK (1757);

o Joseph BOSTOCK (1759) possibly = Sarah MATCHET in 1791 Radford. Other Josephs exists;

o Benjamin BOSTOCK (1761) = Anne LEES in 1791 Eastwood. 5 children;

· George BOSTOCK (1735-36);

· Thomas BOSTOCK (1737) = Mary RICHARDS in 1758 Wollaton, NTT. Children at Trowell include:

o Mary BOSTOCK (1759);

o Thomas BOSTOCK (1761);

o William BOSTOCK (1764);

o John BOSTOCK (1766);

o Ann BOSTOCK (1768);

o Maria BOSTOCK (1770);

Joseph BOSTOCK & Elizabeth SMITH are my 7xGGPs. Their son Benjamin BOSTOCK & Anne LEES are my 6xGGPs. Their children at Eastwood & Greasley:

· Ann BOSTOCK (792-1854) = Joseph KNIGHTON (my 5xGGPs);

· John BOSTOCK (1793);

· Elizabeth BOSTOCK (1794);

· Phoebe BOSTOCK (1796);

· Sophie BOSTOCK (1798);

Trowell records have several BOSTOCK families, which so far remain unconnected to the above family.
At Ilkeston in 1793 there was a bastardy case brought against a Thomas BOSTOCK Ilkeston collier by Hannah WEBSTER single, pregnant.
