FRANCIS Family of Early C18th - Early C19th Birmingham

Seeking ancestry of John & Jane FRANCIS, my 6xGGPs who were married by 1755. They could be the couple married on 4.11.1753 at Much Wenlock, SAL (Jane as THOMAS) or on 22.10.1751 at Maxstoke, WAR (Jane as SWAIN). They had two known children baptised at  New Meeting House, Moor St Unitarian in Birmingham:

• John FRANCIS, c. 31.3.1755 and presumably died young;

• John FRANCIS, c. 30.12.1758 married Mary SHILVOCK (c1759) on 4.2.1779 at St Martin's, Birmingham. Their known children baptised at St. Martin's, Birmingham include:

  • John FRANCIS (1779);

  • Benjamin FRANCIS (1781), may have m. Sarah JONES in 1802, possibly a son Benjamin FRANCIS in 1810;

  • Elizabeth FRANCIS (1782);

  • John FRANCIS (1783), may have m. Mary MANSHAW in Coventry in 1805;

  • Mary FRANCIS (1785) = Edward BODEN in 1804; my 4XGGPs.

  • George FRANCIS (1786);

  • Sarah FRANCIS (1788);

  • Eleanor FRANCIS (1791);

  • Thomas FRANCIS (1793), d. by 1798;

  • Thomas FRANCIS (1798);

  • Phebe FRANCIS (1801);
